Dosia McKay is an American composer of music for concert stage, film, and modern dance. Her portfolio includes works for symphony orchestra, chamber ensembles, choir, soloists, as well as electro-acoustic installations. Her music has been featured on National Public Radio and in concerts throughout the United States, including New York and Washington, D.C., and in Poland, France, Spain, Argentina, China, and others. She has released full-length albums: Lacrimosa, Glossolalia, Endless Immersion, and Groundless, as well as several singles. Dosia is also a painter concentrating on portraiture and abstract expressionist imagery. She has published a collection of poems, short stories, and essays on her blog Music Well. In 2019 she published her debut novel The Flow.
